Elizabeth was not in the house at the time of the 1881 Census - there is a record of an Elizabeth McLuskie visiting the household of Alex & Mrs Mann at 59 Richard St, Barony, Lanark on that day. Elizabeth's age is right at 41, but her birthplace is listed as Hamilton, Lanark.

The cause of his death was Senile Decay Syncope.
