Fanny Welsh
Cause of her death was Continuous Fever - 12 days. General Notes: At the time of the 1861 census Fanny is living at Bobbin Mill, Dalbeattie, Kircudbright. She is the Head of the household, married - no sign of husband William - and born in Ireland. Living here also are sons William, 29, single, a woodcutter born in Creetown, Kirkcudbright; and John, 18, single, a labourer born in Maxwelltown, Kirkcudbright; and grand-daughter Margaret Carruthers, aged 3, born in Dalbeattie (Sarah's daughter). Fanny married William Carruthers about 1831. (William Carruthers was born circa 1801 in Ireland and died prob aft 12 Jan 1873.) |
