A few doors away is a Thomas Forsyth, 25, her son with wife Janet and daughter Marion.
At the time of the 1851 Census she was living with her son Robert Forsyth in Dykehead, Shotts. She is recorded as Isobel Laird, Widow, aged 80, and supported by her family. Her birthplace is recorded as Larbert, Stirlingshire.
