Malcolm married Euphemia McKinnon, daughter of Malcolm McKinnon and Mary Ann Sarah Morag "Sarah" McLeod, on 1 Jan 1855 in Dunmore, , New South Wales, Australia. (Euphemia McKinnon was born after 19 Sep 1836 in Bracadale, Inverness, Scotland, United Kingdom, died on 19 Sep 1905 in Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia and was buried in Beechwood, , New South Wales, Australia.)

13 Sep 2000 - A search of the NSW BDM Index from 1850 to 1860 did not reveal any record of an Angus Cameron marrying, nor a Euphemia McKinnon. This was confirmed in a further search in June, 2003.

A further search in May 2005 revealed the following entry:

V1848510 78/1848 CAMERON ANGUS MCLAURIN EUPHEMIA JY.

The JY subscript indicates a Presbyterian marriage at Bungonia, Goulburn.

Could the name McLaurin by an error in the transcription?

Further investigation of the NSW Births Index seems to indicate that the Angus and Euphemia marriage in Goulburn are two different people. This leads to the conclusion that there is no entry in the marriage Index for our Angus and Euphemia.
