Cause of her death was Bronchitis. General Notes: At the time of the 1861 Census Agnes is a 57 year old coal miners widow living at the Aitkenhead Colliery, Bothwell, Lanarkshire. Living with her is son James, unmarried, 17, a coalminer , Thomas, 12, a scholar, daughter Agnes 15. The children are all recorded as born in Old Monkland (differs from 1851 census). Agnes married Hugh McIntyre, son of Michael McIntyre and Margaret Meikleham, on 31 Oct 1824 in Barony, , Glasgow, , Lanark, Scotland. (Hugh McIntyre was born circa 1806 in Abbey, Renfrew, Scotland and died on 17 Jan 1861 in Nackertons, Bothwell, Lanark, Scotland.). The cause of his death was Chronic bronchitis, 4 years/Anasarca, 3 months. |
