John Jameison
General Notes: The family moved to Narrandera in about 1894 and took over the licence of the Crown Hotel in Larmer Street, which they then ran for 3 years. Later John did occassional labouring work. The family lived in Ferrier Town in Narrandera (now Dundas St) and all of the family were living there in 1909, with the exception of Eliza and Mary Ann who were both married. By 1919 they were living in Grosvenor St, Narrandera. John died there at the age of 73. Noted events in his life were: • He worked as a Farmer in Tatura, Victoria, Australia. John married Elizabeth Tilson, daughter of Charles Tilson and Mary Maloney. (Elizabeth Tilson was born about 1858 and died on 7 Jan 1932.) |
