Cause of her death was Ceptic (?) ????? of both Ovaries / Peritonitis. General Notes: According to her Death Certificate she was 58 which places her birth at around 1829. Noted events in her life were: • She worked as a Housekeeper at the time of her marriage on 6 Oct 1863. • She resided at at the time of her marriage on 6 Oct 1863 in 14 Market Square, Maxwelltown, Troqueer, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. • She resided at at the time of the 1871 Census in 1871 in 22 High St, Troqueer, Maxwelltown, , Kirkcudbright, Scotland. Esther married James McLuskie, son of William McClusky and Mary Welsh, on 6 Oct 1863 in 14 Market Square, Maxwelltown, Troqueer, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. (James McLuskie was born about 1840 in Coatbridge, Lanark, Scotland and died on 2 Mar 1890 in Highway near, Nunband, Kirkcudbright, Scotland.). The cause of his death was Exposure to Cold. Marriage Notes: It was a Free Church of Scotland Ceremony. Witnesses were William McLuskie (probably his brother rather than his father) and Margaret Massy (brides sister ?) |
