Robert Gardiner

  General Notes:

It's possible that he and Mary were not married. On son Robert's death certificate his mother is recorded as Mary McQueen, with a clear line drawn under her name. She is not recorded as "Mary Gardiner, M.S. McQueen" which is the convention used by the Registrar on the other 2 entries on the page.

There is a record of a Robert Gardner from Newburgh, Fife, being buried in the Strathmiglo parish on 24 Apr 1841. It's not clear if this is our Robert.

Robert married Mary McQueen. (Mary McQueen was born in prob Scotland and died before 1915.)
