Her death was reported in The Argus Friday 19 July 1929:
HOCKING - On the 18th July, at the residence of her daughter (Mrs E. Bromley), No. 7 Hawksburn Road, Toorak, Mary Ann, widow of the late Ezekiel Hocking, of Harrietville, and loving mother of William, Elizabeth (Mrs. Bromley) and John, aged 94 years.

There is an "In Memoriam" notice in the Barrier Miner newspaper 8 Apr 1907 for a Lucy Jane Trestrail, wife of Henry who died at Broken Hill 8th April 1906 aged 43. http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article44397477 It appears under the death notice for Samuel Hocking, Mary Anne's brother-in-law. Henry may be related to Mary Anne, a brother perhaps.
