bullet  General Notes:

Timothy enlisted in the Australian Military Forces on the 12th November 1941 in Ashfield, Sydney. He was nearly 27 years of age, a Shearer, Roman Catholic and Single. His next of kin was recorded as his father, then resident at "Fairlgiht", Kamarah, NSW. His own residence was 1 Melton St, Ashfield, Sydney. He had dark brown hair and brown eyes.

His Service and Casualty Form records are almost illegible but it appears he was assigned to the 2 MOT BDE COY / AASC (presumably the 2nd Motorised Brigade) as a Driver. This Unit was later renamed to the 4th Australian Armoured Brigade Company AASC. He served in this Unit primarily in NSW and Queensland and then in New Guinea between 23rd August 1945 until disembarking in Sydney on the 2nd February 1946. He was discharged due to Demobilization on the 13 February 1946.

At the time of his Discharge he was 5' 6" tall, with dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He had a scar on his right forearm and on his left forefinger.
