At the time of the 1851 census she was living in Cockenzie. She was 69, unmarried and a Pauper born in Tranent. Living with her was her grandson William Stewart a 20 year old fisherman.

At the time of the 1861 census she is living in Cockenzie, aged 79, unmarried, a washerwoman. She is living with her daughter Sarah Stewart aged 56, occupation "Formerly serving maid". Both were born in Tranent.

The informant on her death record was her grandson, William Stewart.

Isabella had a relationship with Thomas Jones, son of John Jones ** and Agnes Young **. (Thomas Jones was born on 16 Sep 1777 in Cockenzie, East Lothian, Scotland, christened on 21 Sep 1777 in Tranent, East Lothian, Scotland and died before 6 Dec 1824.)
