Euphemia married Archibald Cowan, son of William Cowan and Agnes Easton, on 30 Dec 1864 in Newarthill, Lanark, Scotland. (Archibald Cowan was born circa 1843.)

It was an Established Church of Scotland ceremony. Witnesses were Betsy McCormick (Euphemia's step-sister) and James Wilkie.
