  General Notes:

In 1841 he was a tailor (like his father) living with his parents in Cheshunt, Herts.

In 1861 he was a 35 year old Coachman (domestic) born Royston, Herts., living on Albury Grove Road, Cheshunt, Herts. Living with him were his wife Keziah, 32, born Ware, Herts and children Mary Ann, 7, a scholar, born Waltham Abbey, Essex; Fanny, 5, a scholar also born Waltham Abbey; Keziah, 1 week, born Cheshunt. His brother, John, was living on this same road.

In 1871 he was a 45 year old Coachman (Domestic Servant), born Hertford, Herts. He was living at White Wells farm, Enfield, Middlesex. Living with him were his wife Louisa, 36, born Hertford and children Fanny, 14, Edward, 8 both born Cheshunt; Harry, 4, Lily, 3 and Arthur, 1 month (he was actually just over 1 year old) all born Enfield.

Edward married Keziah Brown, daughter of Thomas Brown and Unknown, on 22 Nov 1853 in St Leonard Parish Church, Shoreditch, Middlesex, England. (Keziah Brown was born circa 1830 in Ware, , Hertfordshire, England and died 1Q 1864 in Edmonton, Middlesex, England.)

Edward next married Louisa Manning on 11 Jul 1866 in St Leonard Parish Church, Shoreditch, Middlesex, England.
