William married Helen Brown, daughter of William Brown ** and Elizabeth Forsyth **, on 14 Mar 1847 in Shotts, Lanark, Scotland. (Helen Brown was born on 13 Jun 1826 in Shotts, Lanark, Scotland.) Marriage Notes: They had two OPR records for their marriage. The first is in the parish of Shotts which was William's home parish on the 18th March 1847 and the second in Whitburn, Helen's home parish on the 29th March 1847. |
