Noted events in his life were: • He worked as an Ironstone Miner at the time of his death on 16 Apr 1860 in Quarter, Hamilton, Lanark, Scotland. James married Janet McLean, daughter of John McLean and Agnes Forsyth, on 30 Sep 1849 in Old Monkland, Coatbridge, Lanark, Scotland. (Janet McLean was born on 27 Dec 1829 in Coatbridge, Lanark, Scotland and died on 1 Jul 1867 in Coatdyke, Coatbridge, Scotland.). The cause of her death was Consumption 4 mths. |
