bullet  General Notes:

The Birth register records the name of the Parish as Saltprestoun, but it is recorded as Prestonpans in the official records. According to Wikipedia..... Because of the salt manufacturing carried out by the monks using pans on the sea shore, the town's name would later develop into Salt Prieststown and Salt Preston, and finally Prestonpans.

Witnesses at her baptism were George Watson, Elder and George Watson, Younger.
