Michael Keleher

   Another name for Michael was Michael Kellar.

  General Notes:

Michael, aged 29, is believed to have emigrated to Australia with his wife Margaret, aged 25, and daughter Mary Anne, recorded as 'infant', in 1844 on the Herald. Their surnames are recorded as KELLAR.

I have found records for children Julia KILLER and William KELLER born to Michael and Margaret HART. At this stage I have assumed these are the children of this couple given that
there are no other Michael & Margaret births and that Julia and William are also names of Michael's siblings. This is also my source for Margaret's surname.

I have been unable to find a record of any of their deaths in NSW so far. Nor in Victoria where I thought perhaps they had gone during the gold rushes.

  Noted events in his life were:

• He resided at the time of William's birth on 2 Aug 1845 in Botany Rd, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

• He resided at the time of Julia's birth on 3 Dec 1847 in Redfern, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Michael married Margaret Hart in Ireland. (Margaret Hart was born about 1819 in prob Ireland.)
