It appears that in 1911 he was single, aged 61 and living as a Boarder at "The Moorings" in Hutchinson Place, Cambuslang. This was just near where his brother, James, was living. Peter was working as a General Labourer at the Steelworks (James worked there too), and was boarding with James and Jane Telfer. James Telfer was also working at the steelworks.

The informant on his death certificate was John Muirhead, nephew.

• He worked as a Baker - Journeyman at the time of his marriage on 28 Oct 1870 in Holytown, Lanark, Scotland.

• He worked as a Moulder's Labourer (retired) at the time of his death on 7 Nov 1926 in Cambuslang, Lanark, Scotland.
