Cause of his death was Fracture at base of skull, coal mining accident./Fall of coal on head, died instantly. Another name for Alexander was "Pug". General Notes: At the time of the 1910 census he was living with his mother in Coaldale, 26, single and a coal miner. His name is recorded as "Ellick P" but this is believed to be a misunderstood "Alex P." as he appears to have used Alex. His cousin "Ellick T" (probably Alex also), aged 40, single and a coalminer is living there too. Noted events in his life were: • He worked as a Coal miner at the time of his death on 3 Aug 1931 in Coaldale, Bedford, Pennsylvania, United States. Alexander married Mary Edna Figard, daughter of James Lewis Figard and Emmaline Melissa Clark. (Mary Edna Figard was born on 19 Jan 1890 in Wood, Bedford, Pennsylvania, USA, died on 13 Dec 1946 in Huntingdon, Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, United States and was buried in Dec 1946 in Coaldale, Bedford, Pennsylvania, United States.) |
