Ann Barrel
Another name for Ann was Hannah. General Notes: At the time of the 1841 Census, Ann or Hannah as she was known was in the Wellington Union Poorhouse with her children: Joseph, aged 13; Lewis aged 9; Jane aged 5; and Hannah aged 3. Hannah was aged 50, and her occupation was Washerwoman. Her husband is believed to have dided by then, there is no record of him. Ann married James Bazeley, son of Francis Bazeley and Jane Parish, on 10 Oct 1810 in St Michaels, Raddington, Somerset, England. (James Bazeley was born in 1787 in Chipstable, Somerset, England, christened on 11 Mar 1787 in Chipstable, Somerset, England and died circa 1840.) |
