On the same page as her Baptism Record appears is the record for Christian Napier, son of James Napier & Betty Souter, parents also to James Napier.
There is a record of an Elspet Napier in the 1841 Census, aged 60, living in Rothnick, Fetteresso. She was born in the County. This may be our Elspet even though she would have been only 54. She is living in a household with another couple Joseph and Margaret Jamieson, he a Farmer aged 50. Next door was George Napier aged 60 and his family, wife Mary, 55, Ann, 25, Jean 20 and Mary 15.
