bullet  General Notes:

Oswald worked as a teacher from 23 May 1901 to 31 August 1906, mostly around Bathurst. He received several promotions during this time but in 1906 he was deemed ineligible to attend Training School due to "an unsatisfactory medical" condition of some sort.

He must have moved to New Zealand within a couple of years of this as he married there in 1909.
