(George Murdoch was born on 23 Feb 1850 in Redbank (Pampoola), Pampoola, , New South Wales, Australia, died on 16 Feb 1938 in Taree, New South Wales, Australia and was buried in Cundletown, New South Wales, Australia.) Noted events in their marriage were: • They resided at at Kia Ora. • They resided at Oxley Island on 85 acres of land and named their homestead "Fairview" in Oxley Island, Taree, New South Wales, Australia. Marriage Notes: George worked on the roads to help pay the land tax while Ellen milked the cows. She made her own butter and had a butter pat with a thistle on it. |
