Her maiden name is recorded as Mary ARNOLD on daughter Honora's marriage Certificate and various other documents, Mary Anne ORMOND on Honora's Baptism Certificate, Mary Ann ARNALL on Honora's Death Certificate, Mary Ann ARDNELL on son David's Baptism Certificate and Mary Anne ARNELL on daughter Elizabeth's baptism certificate. On her own Death Certificate her father is named as George ARNALL. In the Marriage Notice appearing in the Australasian Chronicle on 29 May 1841, page3, she is named as Mary Ann ARNALL. Her son's name is listed as George ARNOLD Keller on his Death Certificate. One of her Grandchildren is named James ARNALL Brophey !!!

Her death certificate records that she was born in Cornwall.

Mary Ann arrived in Sydney on 16 December 1840 on the Lady McNaghten, the same ship her husband had arrived on 3 years earlier. Her brother, Thomas was travelling on this ship with her. Mary Ann was recorded as aged 21, a dressmaker from Cornwall. She could read and write and her religion was Wesleyan. Her Immigration record completed 6 May 1840 reveals that she was a native of Lanteglos, Cornwall, her character was good, her "state of bodily health, strength and probable usefullness" was very good. It also reveals that her mother was dead. Her father's name is recorded as George, his occupation is recorded as a mason. Lanteglos by Camelford is a parish in Cornwall.

Mary Ann is buried in the Rookwood Cemetery, Sydney, CofE Section DD, Grave 192. There is no headstone to record that she is there. The gravesite is a double grave and also buried here are her grand-daughter Agnes Amelia Gouldthorp, and great grand-children Ronald and Joyce Gouldthorp as well as her daughter's (Honora) husband's mother, Sarah Ann Gouldthorp, all of whom are recorded on a headstone.

(David Keleher ** was born about 1823 in Cork, Ireland, died on 18 Jul 1878 in Bourke St, Redfern nr, Sydney, , New South Wales, Australia and was buried on 20 Jul 1878 in Petersham, New South Wales, Australia.). The cause of his death was Dysentry & Paralysis/ 5 weeks.

It was a Roman Catholic Ceremony. Witnesses were Michael & Elizabeth Keller - David's parents.
