bullet  General Notes:

David emigrated with his family on the Lady McNaghten in 1837. For full details about this harrowing journey refer to notes for David's father, Michael. His future wife and her brother also sailed on this ship, 3 years later.

Witnesses at his marriage were Michael & Elizabeth Keller. These are believed to be his parents.

There is a record of the death of an infant David Keller in 1842 which may have been David & Mary's first child. His burial record records that he was buried on 14 December 1842 at 1 day old. His abode was recorded as Kent Street, religion Roman catholic, but parents names are not recorded. I cannot find a record of his birth.

The Petersham Roman Catholic Cemetery site was redeveloped and many old headstones moved to the Rookwood Cemetery.
