bullet  General Notes:

Johanna was her Christening name - Anna was in those days short for Johanna. As was Greta short for Margareta, Kajsa/Cajsa short for Catherine, Stina short for Christina etc etc etc. Andrew Peter's mother's name was really Johanna Margareta, but she was frequently called Anna Greta in church books of all kind.

Johanna Margareta was the daughter of Per, i.e. Pers dotter - Persdotter. At the end of the 19th century the patronymikon (which is the Swedish word) became surnames and the daughter suffix changed into 'son' - Persdotter became Persson.

With thanks to Inger Wikström for this explanation of Swedish naming conventions.

After Carl Johan had died Anna Greta stayed in Dannemora, but 1881 moved to her daughter Caroline's family in Karkebo village, Film parish. She died in Film 3 July 1910.
