It is possible his name was John. A John Mohilly was a witness at the marriage of John Mohilly and Julia Scanlan. Unlikely to be a brother given the same name, and as there are few Mohilly events in the register I am assuming he was the father of John. Indeed, a John Mohilly married Susanna Obrien on 23 Oct 1795. I am assuming these were the parents of these children. John's name appears to be spelled as Bahilly on the Marriage document.
