Richard Gouldthorp
(ca. 1800-) |
Richard Gouldthorp
Another name for Richard was Richard Goulthorp. General Notes: Both he and Ann were of the parish of St Alphege when they married. At this stage I have assumed that he is the son of Richard and Ann given his name and the connection to St Alphege where Ann lived, but this is completely speculative. Daughter Jane was living on Royal Hill when she married in 1841 which is where Richard's presumed mother Ann Gouldthorp nee MacKenzie was living also in 1841. One of the witnesses for her marriage was James White MacKenzie. Noted events in his life were: • He worked as a Shoemaker at the time of daughter Jane's first marriage on 29 Jul 1841 in Greenwich, Kent, England. Richard married Ann Coxhead, daughter of Benjamin Coxhead and Mary Unknown, on 21 Apr 1821 in St Alphage, Greenwich, Kent, England. (Ann Coxhead was born circa 1800.) |
