There are two John Saunders living and raising a family at the same time in Stratton, both married to Elizabeths. One is this John Saunders, the other is John Saunders, married to Elizabeth Chenhall. One is a Tanner, one is a "Taylor". As this John's father was a Tanner, I'm assuming this John is the Tanner. The two Johns are 2nd cousins if I have the relationships worked out correctly.
