Geraldine Allan
Geraldine is actually recorded in the 1910 census as being Geraldine McIntyre, a niece to James and Agnes (nee McIntyre). In the 1920 census she is recorded as Geraldine Allen, their daughter. I have not yet determined conclusively which of Agnes' (male) siblings were her parents. However, the strong liklihood is that she was born to Agnes' brother James and his wife Ida Burns. Ida died in 1906 when Geraldine would have been 2 years old and I suspect that Agnes and James took her in and raised her as their own. |
