Noted events in his life were: • He worked as a Blacksmith at the time of his marriage on 17 Jul 1871 in Prestonpans, East Lothian, Scotland. • He resided at the time of his marriage on 17 Jul 1871 in Prestonpans, East Lothian, Scotland. John married Isabella Horsburg Russell, daughter of George Russell and Isabel Jones, on 17 Jul 1871 in Prestonpans, East Lothian, Scotland. (Isabella Horsburg Russell was born about 1847 in Tranent, East Lothian, Scotland and died on 1 Dec 1924 in 2 Cochran Place, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.). The cause of her death was Cerebral Haemmorhage, 21 days, Broncho Pneumonia 5 days. Marriage Notes: Witnesses at the wedding appear to have been the bride's brother, Phillip and a Jane, possibly Harper. |
