Her death certificate is unusual in that it lists her parents as James Jones, contractor, and Isabella Jones, maiden name Jones. However there is a Register of Corrected Entries notation in which this error has been subsequently corrected. The middle name, spelled as "Horsburgh" was also added in. The corrections were directed by their son John who was the Informant on the death register.

Witnesses at the wedding appear to have been the bride's brother, Phillip and a Jane, possibly Harper.
