Living with him were wife, Marion, 25, born Falkirk, Stirlingshire, and children, Elizabeth, 6, a scholar, born New Monkland; Janet, 5, a scholar, born New Monkland, Isabella, 3, born New Monkland; and Robert, 18 moths, born New Monkland.
