Living with him were wife, Marion, 25, born Falkirk, Stirlingshire, and children, Elizabeth, 6, a scholar, born New Monkland; Janet, 5, a scholar, born New Monkland, Isabella, 3, born New Monkland; and Robert, 18 moths, born New Monkland. Noted events in his life were: • He worked as a Colliery Engineer Worker at the time of his marriage on 26 Jun 1874 in Airdrie, Lanark, Scotland. • He resided at the time of his marriage on 26 Jun 1874 in 77 Black St, Airdrie, Lanark, Scotland. George married Marion McDonald, daughter of Ronald McDonald and Elizabeth McAllister, on 26 Jun 1874 in 77 Black St, Airdrie, Lanark, Scotland. (Marion McDonald was born circa 1854.) |
