In 1851 Lucy was living with her parents at 129 Park Street, Lenton, Nottinghamshire. She was 20 years of age, born in Loughborough, and employed as a Lace Folder. Both her parents were Lace Makers, her father John was aged 50 and born in Quorndon, Leicestershire and her mother, named as Mary, was 54, born Loughborough.

Her Death was reported in The Argus Saturday 30 April 1881:

CROSSLEY - On the 27th Inst. at Drumanure, Lucy,, wife of Joseph Crossley, storekeeper, aged 51 years.

Just a few weeks before this her husband was declared insolvent.
