bullet  General Notes:

Elizabeth and her parents' stories are recounted more fully in Craig's award-winning book - In the Shadow of Feathertop: a history of the Lives and Legacy of George Jones and Margaret Hardie. Read about the book here: http://craig-fullerton.com/product/in-the-shadow-of-feathertop/

Elizabeth had the distinction of having two parents who were convicts.

Her death certificate records her mother's name as Mary Pratt. This would seem to be an error as her father's occupation of "Nail Worker" is consistent with the occupation of James Buckley married to Mary Hitchen whose death certificate records his occupation as "Nailor".
