G'day, the name is Simon Schrooder. I'm from The Netherlands and researchi
ng the family tree of the Milne family.
My son Paul's mother in law is a Milne, living in Aussie.
Her dad was Alistair Milne, a brother of Kenneth Duncan Milne.
Alistair MacKenzie Milne was born on 3rd of October 1906, in Broughty Fer ry as son of Alexander Duncan Milne and Isabella Milne née MacKenzie.
He went to India, Assam, where he was a teaplanter. Later he returned to E ngland, leaving his wife and daughter behind.
Do you have any information on the marriage date of Alexander and Isabel la and where they came from? And data from before that?
You'ld help me enormously.

Kenneth married Maude Adelaide Old, daughter of William Percy Old and Anne Hinerau, on 21 Oct 1942 in Wellington, New Zealand. (Maude Adelaide Old was born on 5 Dec 1915 in Waitotara, Taranaki, New Zealand, died in Dec 1991 in Wellington, New Zealand and was buried in Taita Cemetary, Taita, New Zealand.)
